Carnival & Festival season is here!
One of the best parts about summer on Long Island is the various events that go! From food festivals, to carnivals and health & Wellness events, the summer is jam packed with things to do!
Here is a list of upcoming Summer 2022 carnivals and festivals in Suffolk County!
1. Long Island Funfest

Long Island FunFest is the largest fair on the Island bringing all the family fun of a state fair right here to our backyard!
The 2022 Fun Fest is packed with FREE shows and entertainment! All new for 2022 is a full big top circus! The World Famous Royal Hanneford Circus will bring its full line-up of amazing acts to fun fest daily (performing June 16-26). Also new for 2022 is the Kid Bucks Game show where little kids WIN BIG! Returning for a second year, families will be able to encounter amazing animals in the Eudora Farms Exotic Petting Zoo. We also have nightly music entertainment and so much more. No fair is complete without a thrilling midway and FunFest has the largest ride midway on the Island. Ride the incredible Super Cyclone Roller Coaster; experience the one of a kind Delusion or try one of the family or kiddie rides, there is something for everyone.

2. North Fork Crush Wine & Artisanal Food Festival

The North Fork Crush Wine & Artisanal Food Festival is your opportunity to experience vineyard views and taste all you’ve been craving in a glorious outdoor setting (expansively tented, to protect from the elements, rain or shine). Enjoy face-to-face conversations with some of Long Island’s most acclaimed winemakers. You will sample 100+ craft beverages and wines from New York wineries – as well as selections from other points in the U.S. and around the globe. Learn the tasting notes so you can understand each varietal’s flavor characteristics, growth history, and other unique insights the public normally never gets to hear. Along with great wines, meet their proprietors up-close-and-personal as well. Each guest also receives a gourmet food box including 3 cheeses, 3 charcuteries, hummus, vegetables, fig jam, crackers and more. It’s a celebration of wine, food, and the bounty of the North Fork!
3. St. James Summer Nights!

In its 5th year, St James Summer Nights is a three date family fun night, featuring food trucks, craft vendors and musical acts.
It’s a perfect family outing and a chance to mingle with your neighbors and community under the summer stars.
4.King’s Park Monday on Main
When: July 11
6pm-9pm
Where: Main St. Kings Park
The Kings Park Chamber of Commerce will be hosting ‘Monday on Main’ event on July 11th. Music, food, and family fun for all! This year is shaping up to be better than ever with an antique car show, art in the park, live music, rides, and more!
5. Kid’s Week at Church Unleashed
When: July 11th – July 14th, from 10:00 am – 2:30 pm!

Go off-road for a Monumental adventure through the colorful canyons and sunbaked trails of the southwest. By exploring God’s awesomeness, kids form a rock-solid faith for the road ahead.

6. Long Island Summer Beer and Wine Spirits Fest
When: July 16, 1pm-5pm
Where: Tanger Outlets, Deer Park
Long Island Summer Fest is your all access pass to try beer, wine and spirits from around the world. Enjoy An Entire session at the Tanger Outlets Deer Park Lot with your favorite local brew or exotic wine. Guests will enjoy beer, wine and spirit samples for the session paired with live entertainment, food and interactive games.
7. Fireman’s Fair
When: July 19-July 23 , 6pm-11pm
Where: 401 Oakwood Rd.
Huntington, NY
Long Island’s largest Fireman’s Fair is held at the Stimson School and adjoining Peter Nelson Park on Oakwood Rd in Huntington. We feature seventeen amusement rides, for children and adults. We have games of chance, games of skill, food, fun and gambling. Open daily 6pm till 11pm, Friday 6pm to midnight and Saturday from 5pm till midnight.
Annual Parade is Wednesday July 20th ay 7:30pm. The parade starts at Jefferson School on Oakwood Rd and heads south to Stimson School. Fire Departments from all over the Township attend.
P.O.P Bracelets for the rides are $30.00
Fireworks Wednesday night thru Saturday night at 9:30pm.

8. Long Island Maritime Museum’s 2022 Seafood Festival
When: August 20 & 21, 11am-6pm
Where: Long Island Maritime Museum

The Seafood Festival features two full days of delicious seafood, live performances by tribute bands, a craft show, activities for children, and more.
9. Nesconset Day Street Fair
When: August 28, 10am-5pm
Where: Smithtown Blvd., Nesconset
10. East Northport Festival
When: September 9 through September 11
Where: John J. Walsh Memorial Park and on Larkfield Road from Pulaski Road Proceeding North
The annual East Northport Festival is considered to be one of the top festivals on all of Long Island and a primary destination for Family Fun!!! This community event highlights the best East Northport has to offer.
